Dain A. Roose-Snyder
Dain is a Legislative and Research Assistant for Hartwell
Capitol Consulting.
Dain has worked for the Washington, DC chapter of the Sierra
Club, a national conservation organization.
During his time with Sierra Club Dain was instrumental in increasing
member participation in events ranging from beautification days to political
and environmental activism.
Prior to this Dain Served as a research fellow with the international
team at the environmental organization Friends of the Earth. Dain did a combination of issue research, political analysis and
policy formulation involving extractive industries, oil pipelines and rainforest
conservation, primarily focusing on central Asia and the Caspian Sea basin,
West Africa, and Latin America.
Dain graduated from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC
in 2002 with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science, and a Minor in Community
Studies. While at Guilford College,
Dain was appointed to a position on the search committee for the new Head of Student Activities,
Volunteered with the African Services Coalition helping families of recently
immigrated Sudanese refugees, and served as Acting President of
Student Union.
