Beth Lavach

Beth Lavach is the president of ELS & Associates, a lobbying and federal marketing firm representing domestic and international clients from both the public and private sectors. ELS & Associates focuses on issues related to defense, homeland security and forensic sciences and has been instrumental in promoting advances in the application and use of simulation, extended-learning techniques and advanced technology applications to security issues. Prior to forming her own consulting practice, Ms. Lavach served as Vice President for Government Relations for a major U.S. corporation. In addition, she was a partner in a Washington-based lobbying company. Before entering the consulting field, Ms. Lavach spent several years on Capitol Hill as a Congressional Legislative Director and a Staff Assistant to the Armed Services Committee. Ms. Lavach has been a speaker at numerous national conferences on forensic sciences. She is a graduate of Western Connecticut State University and holds a Master of Arts Degree in International Studies from the Claremont Graduate University.

Beth Lavach has been representing the lobbying and federal marketing interests of numerous domestic and international organizations from both the public and private sectors in Washington for several years. Experienced on issues related to defense, homeland security and forensic sciences, she has been instrumental in promoting advances in the application and use of simulation, extended-learning techniques and advanced technology applications to national security issues. With more than a decade of corporate experience as Vice President for Government Relations for a major U.S. corporation and as a partner in a Washington-based lobbying firm in addition to a Capitol Hill background as a Legislative Director and an Assistant to the Armed Services Committee, Ms. Lavach has been instrumental in developing and securing legislation and funding for a number of antiterrorism projects and military and homeland security programs. She is a frequent speaker at numerous national conferences on forensic sciences where she is recognized for her efforts in expanding awareness and support for a broad array of forensic science disciplines. Ms. Lavach holds a Master of Arts Degree in International Studies from the Claremont Graduate University.


Working with Government to Find Solutions
